How the equity engine, practice mode, hand review, and leak analysis fit together — and how to get started.

Start with a free practice hand

Go to /practice — no account needed. You'll get a server-generated hand against 1–3 bots, pick an action (fold/check/call/bet/raise), and immediately see the engine's correct answer with an AI explanation. This is a 3-day free pass, timed from your first visit.

Create an account for unlimited access

After the free pass or whenever you're ready, sign up to unlock unlimited practice, hand import, and the analysis dashboard under /app.

Run the equity calculator

/app is a standalone calculator: enter your hole cards, an optional board, and the number of opponents to get a precise win/tie/loss probability from a real Monte Carlo simulation, plus a suggested fold/call/bet/raise sized to your risk profile.

Import and review real hand histories

Upload a PHH-format hand history at /app/hands/import. Each imported hand gets a street-by-street replay with equity recalculated at every decision point, so you can see exactly where a hand turned.

Practice against the bots

/app/practice is the same trainer as the public trial, but unlimited and tied to your account. Every hand you play here is automatically saved.

Play a real hand at the Table

/app/table is the full experience: pick a table size (2-6 players) and a seat, then play an actual hand with real blinds, turn order, and multi-street betting against bots, instead of a single isolated decision. Every decision you make here is graded and saved the same way as Practice.

Review your games and find your leaks

Each Practice or Table session is grouped into a Game, listed at /app/games with per-session accuracy. For the bigger picture, /app/analysis aggregates every hand you've ever played to surface your most frequent mistakes (e.g. “you folded when calling was optimal, 8 times”) and your accuracy broken down by risk profile — all computed from the same numbers generated at grading time, nothing re-run after the fact.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need an account to try LineSharp?

No. /practice gives anyone a 3-day free pass of unlimited hands against the bots, no signup required. The trial clock is tracked in your browser, so it resets if you clear storage or use a private window — that's an accepted trade-off for a no-signup teaser, not something relied on once you have a paid account.

Can I use LineSharp while playing online?

No. LineSharp is explicitly designed for offline study, post-session review, and sandbox practice. It does not read screens or scrape live tables. Using it as Real-Time Assistance (RTA) during a live hand violates most operators’ Terms of Service and is prohibited by our own usage terms — see the Responsible Gambling page.

How accurate is the AI coach?

The coach never invents poker math. Every explanation is generated from deterministic Monte Carlo equity output computed server-side first; the AI's only job is translating those numbers into plain-English reasoning for your configured risk profile, not deciding the numbers themselves.

What's the difference between Practice, Table, Games, and Analysis?

Practice (/app/practice or the public /practice) is one isolated decision at a time — fastest way to drill. Table (/app/table) is a full seated hand with real blinds, turn order, and multiple streets, closer to an actual game. Every graded decision from either one is automatically collected into a Game — one per session, viewable at /app/games. Analysis aggregates every hand across all of your games to show your accuracy and your most common mistakes ("leaks"), like folding when calling was correct.

What hand history formats do you support?

The importer supports standard Poker Hand History (PHH) format for Texas Hold’em (No-Limit and Fixed-Limit). Omaha and Short Deck support is planned but not yet available.
